This is our second summer in Marlins, and my entire family adores this place. The suit-in-suit style is incredibly convenient for our family. The receptionist, particularly the black lady and the French guy, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The French guy even knows my name, which is a humbling experience. I wish I could remember the name of the black lady we walked in without reservation. She was able to secure our 13-night stay at an amazing rate. We didn’t get to thank her properly, but we are genuinely grateful. From the kitchen to the laundry service, everything is incredible. The best part of this place is the safety, cleanliness, and convenience of being walkable from the hotel to the Tower Bridge and the London Eye. We never venture out because we can experience the whole thing on foot. To the staff who helped me pick out my mail, thank you. I could go on and on about this place, but it truly is one of the best places to stay in London. I’m hoping for a winter break, but if not, I’ll see you all next summer. Kind regards, Dr. Aisha Yakub

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, 5 mins walk to London eye and 2 mins walk to a tube station. The room was nice with cooking facilities. Highly recommended.

Wasn't worth what we paid but overall OK

The rooms were clean however the room we were placed in could not comfortably hold the number of people we booked for. They switched the rooms, overcharging me for a room with 2 adults and 2 children over the other room we had 4 adults in. We ended up making an internal switch so we could be more comfortable. I didn't feel the stay was worth the money we paid. Centrally located to the train station and walking distance to restaurants.

When we arrived at our room we discovered that the room is being made only once in 2 days and changing of leaneans only once every 4 days. If the guest wants the room to be cleaned every day they have to ask it 24 hours in advance! As we arrived only for 2 nights we did not have period of 24 hours in advance. In addition Mobile phones has no reception inside the hotel and there is no telephone in the room. The only way to reach the hotel stuff is via chat. Overall a disappointing choice for us.

Convenient location with spacious room

After returning home we're realizing that we're praising this hotel every time we tell our friends about our trip. We had a family room with a kitchenette; plenty of room and even a view of the city. We used the laundry room in the basement and it worked well. Basically across the street from North Lambeth underground station (Bakerloo/South) sort of outside the busy area. Some food options right outside the hotel, and also a supermarket, ATM etc. It's close to a hospital so we did hear sirens near the hotel but I can't remember if we heard that in the room. Definitely a go-to option next time.

Suite room was clean and comfortable - kitchenette was well stocked with utensils, cups, pots and pans. Staff very helpful. Area around the hotel is safe and very convenient - right downstairs is Pret A Manger, and a Sainsbury next to it. A few steps from the Lambeth North tube.
