Disappointing stay

We checked in late, around 9pm and that went great! We even got a small unexpected gift bag. I was totally willing to overlook some small inconveniences in our room, however the next morning when i called to request a later check out, I was essentially cutoff during my request, being told it "wasnt possible". When I brought up there was a dead moth in our shower, I was told it would be passed on to housekeeping. This completely took away from our stay, making all the things we were willing to overlook stand out. Dead bug in shower, spiderwebs all over deck, broken dirty phone that didnt work so we couldnt use it to contact room service. All of that would have been fine, even for a room costing us $200 for one night, but the rudeness of the front desk, specifically Russell, was too much. Dont cut your customers off when they are still speaking. Note for training in customer service - even if you think you "can't " meet a request, ask what you CAN do. 15 minutes later for check out would have made all the difference in a review.

Bad experience

I stepped on a piece of glass at the pool, which then my son went to go get management and they gave him tweezers and that was hit. They never came out to see if I was OK or to sweep up the glass. Then we had to go back to the office four times for keys because the keys wouldn’t work to get into the building or the room. And then the back door did not work. We had to use all our force just to get it open, and then we could not lock it.

This place was ok. The room needed put dated but the walls needed to be painted again. The outside carpet was probably the originals from when I was a kid. Had a marching band staying above us. Could sleep until after midnight. The money doesn't warrant our stay

Good for a short stay

We really liked this hotel. Good price---would have given 5 stars if it included breakfast. Definitely dated--but very clean. Only stayed one night. The room they gave us was seemed very isolated and the glass door opened up to the parking lot. I would have loved a spot that opened up to the courtyard.

Very friendly staff at the desk super accommodating I'm pregnant so they made sure to get me a ground level floor to ride and have to do a lot of walking however the bed was super uncomfortable the pillows were really flat and the screen door like the glass door the sliding door was super heavy and hard to open and close but other than that it was good

Ice machines broken. Room was dirty with mold in the shower and spiders in the corners. Pool was gross. Then the want you to pay for breakfast. 100$ rooms at the super 8 hav ethe same breakfast for free… nice!

We got to the hotel for a memorial. And we stayed here from other people's prior experiences. Ours wasn't the same. We arrived in our room and the heat was really bad in the room. Which we expected. But when we went to turn the thermostat down, it said that it was 60 in there already... not even close. It was hotter than outside. The front desk said they would send their "engineer " over to look at it. He came and said that some people complain that it's too cold so it gets turned up... he let us leave to fix it and when we came back it wasn't fixed. It was the same. We let the front desk know and that said he said it was fixed. It was so hot in our room. My dad who was on the other side of the hotel had the same problem. We let them know before we left and they said that it happens often... and they'll look into it again... On top of that, there was little kids from a swim team upstairs that kept running and jumping until midnight and around 5am in the room above us. We were told we would have a room by my dad but it was on the opposite wing as us. We went to eat and the wait staff was amazing. The DJ need to learn to use his equipment because there was a horrible buzzing in the restaurant and the sign said kids could be in there until 8... he was blasting the music so loud we had to scream to talk. It wasn't 7 yet and karaoke was at 8... and he was singing a few songs over and over. The DJ said that they were going to play raunchy music. We had our 3 year old with us for di
