The property and room were clean and beautiful. The beach did have quite a bit of seaweed. The service was very disappointing. It often took a long time just to place a drink order, and at times the waitstaff seemed to ignore us entirely. This really took away from the overall experience.

The pool bar staff were friendly, the outside bar staff was meh, and the waitresses only gave you water half of the time. I dont think I would stay here again because of the food however, Moses was amazing!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe
The hotel is very nice and the beach is wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was that the food they serve is the same everyday. We were there a week and the menu didn't change. After 3 days I was tired of eating the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, the service is a little slow.
