"The hotel is in a great central location with plenty of restaurants and activities very close by. My only negative was no AC but they usually don’t have the heat we experienced while there. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Some of the rooms used to be prison cells. Pretty cool. Our room seemed very new, simple, but clean. We were able to walk to the train easily. We also walked to the Lion Monument, the Watchtowers, the river and shopping."

"Bed was good, AC was not that great ( not sure if there is ac or just fan) it was very hot when we stayed so that's why, usually it never gets this hot in Switzerland. Overall hotel is great and I recommend."

The famous wooden bridge was a short walk and so was the promenade along the river. Lucerne main station is walkable, but be aware of the cobbled streets which make dragging trolley ..."
