Excellent service and beautiful hotel. Would stay there again. Good area of London to be in. Walk to Buckingham Palace. Not the best for dining out though!!

I was in London gor a concert in Brixton and many walking tours. The location at Victoria Station was ideal for the areas I planned to visit. My room overlooked the bus station but was very quiet. The bed was very large and comfortable. I paid for the breakfast which had a good selection of items. Ate or hung out in the Soak bar several times. Their selection of beers could have been better, but other pubs I visited made up for that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay, and I will be back.

Great staff but two problems

Staff excellent-friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent-plenty of choices. However, two big problems: noise level in restaurant so high every day, we could not eat dinner in there-we had to go around the corner and buy sandwiches, and all of the doors slam-we had to listen to slamming doors from 3:00 pm until we went to sleep and again in the morning starting at 4 am - these 2 problems would prevent me from staying there again

This was a lovely hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby with nice rooms. Its central location and proximity to the train station (literally connected to one) made it very convenient to get around. The restaurant connected to the hotel is lively with great food.

Great hotel, service, and location!

We had a wonderful stay at The Clermont in London! We only had 2 night in London and we wanted to make the most of our short time there. The location was great. We decided to do the Big Bus (hop on Hop off) which was located on the side of the hotel. The train station is also on the other side which made getting a taxi to the airport extremely easy. We arrived on an early train from Paris and the hotel gladly stored our bags for us and took them to our room when it was ready, allowing us to go out and explore for the day. The hotel is very close to Wicked and Hamilton, so we looked into last minute Hamilton tix and scored a great deal, same-day! We had dinner in the restaurant (very cute) and then popped over on foot. We booked a family room and I was very happy to see the extra bed was already pulled out and made for us upon arrival. The room was well-appointed and the staff was all so friendly and helpful. In our booking with Hotels.com, we included breakfast, which was a good call for us since we wanted to make the most of our days sightseeing and eating our other meals out. Overall, very happy with the hotel and the value for the price point!

It’s just ok

Given the location and price I expected first class standards however think this hotel relies on its convenient distance from the train station so wasn’t as great as I would expect. Check in was very transactional and I had to leave too early to check out breakfast
