The mad hatter was a great place for a night in southbank. The staff were friendly, they provided so much additional things in the room including complimentary drinks, toiletries etc. guests also receive a discount in the bar. Whilst the hotel is on a busy road they provide earplugs and eye masks in the room which were very welcome. Would stay again.

Good hotel, what I did not like is the amount of cars around the hotel. Apart from that good hotel the mad hatter. Thank Maarten Brokmann

Fitted the bill for us

Pros: A place with a bit of atmosphere. Fantastic team of people to lighten your day.
Cons: Perhaps a fridge in the room?
Location: Not far from Blackfriars underground and a pleasant half hour stroll along the embankment to be by the London eye. But that relevant to your mobility
We had promised ourselves a break in London to take in as many sights as we could in a three night stay. Having read some reviews about this hotel we can only say the other reviewers were spot on. This is London. It is going to be busy and noisy from roads and building works.There is so much building going on i do not think you would find anywhere within the center of London that differs. I can only say we were up and out before and real noisy work started and were back so late that the days work was done. All that could be done re noise was there, Heavy curtains and good windows. I am not a good sleeper and was not bothered so it must have been ok!. It was no ones fault that we chose the hottest week of the year with temperatures reaching 30C making the room very warm. Again we had two very large fans to try and help. Not fond of air conditioning so this was best solution for us. So all in all we were delighted with our choice. Best of all was the staff. We are not in the earliest stages in life, after a day trekking round London in the extreme heat we chose to return to the hotel to eat. One look at us and the very thoughtful waiter was there at the rescue with thirst aid even before we sat down. A real gem who along with the other members of staff helped make the stay, memorable and very pleasant. We would certainly recommend on our experience and would not hesitate to visit again, perhaps at a cooler time of year! Thank you Mad Hatters.

Die Unterkunft ist leicht erreichbar. Man hat die Möglichkeit verschiedene Underground-Linien zu benutzen (liegt in der Nähe). Liegt an der Strasse, war etwas laut in der Nacht.

Perinteinen hotelli lähellä nähtävyyksiä

Pros: Sijainti ja tunnelma.
Cons: Aamiainen voisi olla mopipuolisempi. Voisi myös olla sanomalehtiä saatavana.
Location: Hotelli on 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä tärkeistä nähtävyyksistä. St. Pauls katedraali, Tate Modern taidemuseo, ja Imperial War Museum ovat lähellä
Oikea perinteinen hotelli lähellä St. Pauls katedraalia ja Fleet Streetia. Huone lämmin ja hiljainen liikenteestä huolimatta. Kylpyhuone toimiva, lämmin vesi (ei itsestään selvää Lontoossa). Alakerrassa hyvä aamiainen. Suositellaan. Ja sänkykin oikein hyvä:)
