Small hotel room with no amenities. I had to book on a massive shortage due to the salesforce Dreamforce conference and a desire not to stay 45 minutes outside of the city or have my company pay $1,200/night. The worst part is there is no sound proofing between the rooms. I could literally hear other guest’s snoring, coughing, and talking in the rooms next to me. There’s no AC, so you have to open the window to the loud street to get any airflow. Very cheap, bare bones hotel but I’m glad I got to stay 20 minutes from the Moscone center.

Really old and not great looking hotel inside, really needs updating and room wasn’t great. Hairs in the shower and wasn’t comfortable with the cleanliness. Over priced

I’ve staid in the Casa Loma a few times over the years while visiting family in SF. The rooms are small but definitely not claustrophobic, most importantly they’re clean and well stocked with towels, soap, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is beyond charming. Plenty of markets, take out, and laundromats on the same street to keep you supplied and comfortable if you’re staying for a long weekend or a few days. Just a wonderful experience every time I’ve visited.

Stayed here for a couple days while in San Fran. Overall, my experience was okay. The hotel is older and not updated. I was not aware that there wasn’t an elevator so carrying my suitcase 3 flights of stairs was unexpected. No AC in the rooms and even if you open the windows it doesn’t help. The walls are very thin and conversation from other rooms can be heard. Lots of noise at night making it hard to sleep. Other than that, for the price it was a decent stay.

I like the vintage property that was remodeled. Bathroom had modern fixtures. Marblelike floors and showers. Dispenser's of Shampoo/Conditioner and Body Wash. My sleeping area had a queensize bed with my very comfortable medium hard mattress and clean bedsheets and pillows. Flat screen tv worked well. A vintage classic touch with decorative sconces. Before i stayed in a room that had window blinds with nice moulding surrounding it. These brought back memories of my grandparents home back in the day.

I would stay here again

We had an interior room. No noise from the roads, but it was tiny! There's just enough room to walk around the bed, and no place to put your stuff in the room or bathroom. Room was clean and shower was hot with good pressure. The interior hallways are run down but clean. Location was just great, I felt very safe in this neighborhood as a female with my teenage daughter and walking around by myself in the mornings. You can hear some noise from other guests but not bad at all considering the price and neighborood are worth it.
