We were very disappointed in the Warf Inn. The rooms were not well maintained. Getting a face cloth every day meant going down to ask for one. There was a very big gap in the door out to the balcony which let both outside noise and light into the room. Bed was not comfortable.

Loved that the wharf was walkable from inn. I feel like the bathroom could have been cleaner and updated a bit more. Overall stay was good, i would stay again.

Great bed, very comfortable and clean room But no air conditioner. Near food and stores. They change 30 dlls for parking, i found that at the time i check in. Very nice place

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel and room was very clean and neat. The hotel and rooms were very run down. although it seems as though renovating has been happening it could use some general repairs and paint. In the two days we were there the elevator was out of order twice as was the ice machine on multiple floors. Having the parking lot and access to the rooms behind gates only accessible to hotel guests was very reassuring. I never felt unsafe.

They property was in an unsafe neighborhood, I was unable to open a window due to fear of break in from homeless and aggressive men that live in front of the property. These homeless aggressive men screamed in front of room balcony the ENTIRE evening and I was unable to leave the room due to an unsafe open air hallway to go to front desk There was NO air conditioning and the front desk suggestion was to open a window, again no screens on the windows and the windows faced the aggressive homeless men that live there. I saw these men also the night before and the next evening so the property is aware that these men live in front of the property, I also witnessed these men defecate in front of the property and I want compensation for this horrific stay that I was mis lead on

Do not stay here. The rooms are run down and not clean. There was a bag over our fire detector. Limited staff, toilets have a sign that say don't flush tissue. Luckily, they gave us a plunger for a clogged toilet. No ac, our room was 80°. The people who lived in front of the entrance were nice in the morning and hostile and threatening come 6pm. I wish I would've seen I review like this before I spent $1400 and booked with them. Unfortunately, we didn't get a refund from Expedia. SF is great have an awesome time!

This hotel was being remodeled while I was there. The remodeled rooms are nice and comfortable. The best part of this hotel was the service. Outstanding service. We'll be back.

Convenient bec. it's very close to the wharf but the property needs a lot of upgrading. The elevator is so slow to operate and the area around is dirty. Somebody forgot to pick up a bag of garbage placed right next to our parked car. I liked the way they keep their parking garage door closed at all times.

It was within 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, so walking distance to a lot of places. VERY outdated hotel....not in the best condition. Kinda like a third world country. Was glad to leave the place!

Average hotel, dreadful staff, good location.

Arrived and there was no one at reception. They were at lunch and back in 30 mins. Parked car and sent them a message via hotels.com to explain we had arrived and not sure where to park. Any issues, call as we were having lunch round the corner. Returned to the hotel and were told we had an early parking fee of USD 15 on top of USD 40. When I booked there was no fee - listed as free parking. Room fine, overpriced but good for our plans for the following day. Also charged additional partying next day - an additional USD15. Two major issues. Firstly, the parking fees which were annoying as I was expecting free parking. Secondly, the attitude of the staff. When I queried the payments and why they hadn’t call, there was zero customer service and they said they couldn’t make international calls. They did send a message via app which arrived five mins before we returned to the hotel. I am sure their zero customer service approach is driven by the lies over the parking and the staff have to enforce it. Presumably most guests spend a night or two and just suck it up. I am disgusted with this approach and would like fellow travellers to be aware when booking.

The only saving grace of this property is its proximity to Fisherman's Wharf. We were given a room facing the street with a balcony with somehow a view of the ocean. But since there is no air conditioning, you cannot open the windows for the breeze to come in because it is too noisy outside with people shouting and the big bus right beside the inn. When we arrived, the elevator was broken, and our room was on the third floor. We had to drag our luggage three floors up. Then the apps on the television were not working. This is the first leg of our honeymoon, and it did not add any good memories.

The staff were wonderful and the inn is close to pier 39 & tourist activities! It’s an older building with lots of history… so as long as you are flexible and adaptable, it’s a wonderful place to stay!!
