This is not a great stay for someone who is visiting London for vacation. The site happened to be a college campus that is used for generating extra money. There was no Air Conditioner, Hairdryer, Fridge… I had to exit my room for random alarms that were going off and not explained why. One of those alarms was in a very early morning which disrupted my sleep. The area around the stay is also not the best and pretty far from the center of the city.

This "hotel" is a dorm. The college rents unoccupied dorm rooms when school is not in session. As long as you calibrate your expectations for that, it's a perfectly fine place to stay.

A great location at a great price

A great place to stay for the money as well as being only minutes walking distance from the major museums as well as The Royal Albert Hall. Spacious rooms and helpful staff. I would be happy to stay there again.

Service was excellent; rooms were clean; the only reason I’m giving 3 stars is that the building is older, and the fire alarm is so sensitive that it goes off even if one takes a warm shower.

It was reasonably priced and location was great and really close to where we needed, the proms. However, this is not a hotel it is student accommodation! I purposely put the hotel filter on as I was looking for a hotel. No where said this was student accommodation so we were quite surprised when we arrived. The room is basic, and has a dirty carpet, think whetherspoons, smell to it. The bed was a very small double, tight squeeze for an average couple. It was also the most uncomfortable bed and we slept really poorly. I feel for the student that has to sleep on that for a prolonged time. It put a real dampener on our trip.

This is a student dormitory with a very convenient location. However, it does not provide air conditioning or a hair dryer. The room I was assigned was semi-basement, which made it feel a bit damp with a slight odor. There is no dining hall in the building, but several restaurants can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Despite these inconveniences, I felt safe throughout my stay.

Good value.

Good 'wholesome' accommodation at - for London - a reasonable price. Clean room. Shower with non-slip floor was a real bonus. Breakfast was a but of a trek from the room (5 min walk in a different building). Very good location for Albert Hall and the museums at South Kensington.

Cleaning staff hardly respects "Do not disturb" signs. Had to put up with 2! false fire alarms on the day I was leaving. One at 7:00 a.m. and again! at 9:00 a.m. apparently because their fire alarm sensors are too sensitive.
