Always convenient and comfortable

Excellent stay as always. The double room was smaller than last time but perfectly comfortable. Reception were incredibly helpful. Tea, coffee, hairdryer, toiletries and towels all provided. Will definitely stay again.

You get what you pay for.

We were in the basement, which we didn’t mind. I thought lack of window would mean a dark room. How wrong could we have been. There was a window with a bit of flimsy fabric in front of it. The light outside was on all night, so our room was lit up constantly. Thank goodness I had my face mask with me! We were in room 3. The bathroom smelt really badly - like a blocked drain. It was cheap you get what you pay for. We were there for less than 10 hours and spent lots of that time in the pub round the corner. Would’ve asked to be moved if we were there for longer.

One of the rooms we had on the ground level had mould above the shower, and wasn’t cleaned unlike the other room we at the same time. We found the beds comfy but kept moving away from the head board even when you sat on them. Shower tray waste was blocked so the tray would fill up. But overall great hotel for the area and price 😊

The property is old and needs a facelift. The room was small. That being said, it was comfortable and close to everything we wanted. We were able to walk to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Oxford St. There were great pubs close by for meals and drinks. If you aren’t looking for 5 star luxury this is a great place to stay

A True Hidden Gem in Paddington

Stayed 4 nights in a single room. Bathroom was new and very clean, but it was tricky to adjust the shower temperature (too hot or cold), and the sink was too small for washing your face properly. Room had no AC as it is normal for most European hotels, but here was a fan in the closet to use. Also dryer in a drawer. Plenty of coffee and tea with an electric kettle, but desk/ table was quite small. Room was clean, with room service everyday. Bed was firm and only had 1 pillow, but there were extras in the closet. Walls were thick preventing most of the noise, except the ones coming from hallways. Staff was very polite and friendly. I didn't choose the breakfast option so can't say about it. Overall for the super low price I paid, it was worth every bit and had a great stay.

Enough space for 5 people. Clean and convinience. Great location. 5 mintutes from Paddington station, close to restaurants and shopping. Be aware no AC in the room though. Small fan provided but was not good enough in August month.

Zero stars if I could. Horrific experience. I don’t even know where to begin. This was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in my life. The beds felt like stone slabs and the duvet covers were absolutely disgusting—filthy with brown stains that looked like they hadn't been washed in months. There was no air conditioning, so we had no choice but to sleep with the window open. That turned into a nightmare when we were jolted awake in pure terror by someone coming through our window. It wasn’t a burglar—it was the hotel’s cleaning crew. Yes, they were using our window in our room to fold laundry on. As if that wasn’t disturbing enough, they were also dropping heavy laundry bags from the top floor down to the ground outside our window, some 50 feet up. The sound was deafening and terrifying. We asked them repeatedly to stop. They didn’t. I went to the front desk and was assured it wouldn’t happen again—but sure enough, it did the very next morning. To make matters worse, we saw cleaning staff sleeping on freshly cleaned towels—yes, the same towels meant for guests. Everywhere we looked, there were bugs crawling around, and we even saw rats running by. The shower temperature changed from ice cold to scalding hot on its own, with zero warning. I cannot believe this place is legally allowed to operate. Save yourself the stress, discomfort, and horror—do not stay here.
