Fabulous hotel with very courteous staff. Our room however was blighted by noise from outside which lasted into the early hours on a Friday and Saturday night. Assume related to couple of bars on the street at the side. Would benefit from better glazing or soundproofing. Great location for sightseeing and easy walk to theatre district. Excellent dining options in the vicinity.

We had a lovely time staying in this very central, lovely hotel. The views from the top were amazing, the room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom large. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was fab. Very happy.

Ok hotel. Great location. The shower head was leaking and first room stank of mold. Had to ask to switch. And they kept asking why. It was nauseating. Could be better maintained.

Love this locatiin

Love this location near Picadilly, Bond Street, Oxford Street, Covent Garden, theaters and SoHo just behind the Fortnum and Mason store. This hotel has friendly staff and reasonable sized rooms compared to most London hotels

This was a very disappointing stay. First, if you arrive on a red eye and your room isn’t ready, the hotel doesn’t have a changing area for you to wash up and change into fresh clothes. We arrived at 9:30a.m from the U.S and our room wasn’t ready until after 3pm which would have been fine if there was a proper place other than a bathroom stall to change. The hotel is so long in the tooth. Old furniture with lots of conspicuous damage. Bathroom la have t been touched since the 1990s. The bellhop watched as we dragged our suitcases through the lobby and offered no help on our checkout. Lastly, and most importantly, the hotel placed is in an inferior room to what we booked on Expedia and blamed the error on Expedia for using a different nomenclature to theirs. They wouldn’t accept responsibility and placated us with “if we had a better room or the room you booked through Expedia we would move you, but we are fully booked because it’s a busy weekend - Wimbledon, Pride”. They totally gave away our room and When we asked to see the reservation record they had from Expedia, the Manager refused to show us. BTW - they are getting ready to undergo a renovation in September which might be why they are so apathetic and unapologetic about their bait and switch on our room.

Great location. Excellent concierge. Housekeeping and comfort of beds need work. Staff efficient but not particularly welcoming … again with the exception of Concierge. Was not acknowledged by reception upon arrival. 2 staff both servicing one pair of customers. I was the only other guest waiting.
