My only challenge was one receptionist when we 1st arrived as I felt her unwelcoming. Then upon checking out I encountered the same person…who stressed me out. Thankfully, a lovely French speaking lady Cecile, rescued me & we finished our transaction within the privacy of switching to speaking French. I am a bilingual Canadian. 🙏

Very pleasant stay at this hotel. The concierge guys were excellent; very welcoming, and customer minded without being over the top or too pushy. As we were staying just the 1 night I booked the smallest room, which was very small, but it had everything we needed, and the main thing was the bed, and the pillows, were comfy, and the a/c worked perfectly and I was able to dial in a good temperature for sleeping. The hotel was literally a 5 minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall, and after our concert we had drinks in the hotel bar, which was pleasantly busy with other guests. We are returning to London in March and we will definitely stay here again, although in a larger room this time!

An excellent hotel offering quiet comfort and luxury in Kensington. The room I shared with my daughter was very nicely furnished and had all we needed for an overnight stay including a beautiful bathroom with twin sinks and a great shower.

I loved the hot English style breakfast; consistently good every morning. The staff is uniformly friendly and professional. I feel very secure and comfortable here. It was my third stay and I intend to return as soon as the opportunity arises.
Buffet in the rear of the breakfast room on floor -1. The vintage and atmospheric photo of Piccadilly Circus is plastered like a fresco over the entire back wall and more than makes up for lack of view.
Selection from buffet. I’ve already polished off half the English muffin and all the orange marmalade. Sautéed mushrooms peek out from beneath the baked beans and cherry tomatoes. Still to follow are Greek yogurt with stewed prunes and fresh kiwi.
Front of the hotel. Some diplomatic residences nearby but mostly a university neighborhood.
Autumn day, one entrance to Imperial College is across the street. You can use this entry as a shortcut to the V&A and science museums or continue a few more steps down Queen’s Gate Road to the iconic Natural History Museum.
