Third time at the Zedwell and it is feeling like my London home away from home. Have gotten used to no windows and minimal decor. The one at Piccadilly is located near everything. It also is the best priced.
Very quiet. Check in and out are self serve.
Clean and comfortable but no charm whatsoever. Luckily the area outside the hotel is dripping with it.

I thought it was appalling I had to either pay £30 to store the bags for 2 hours or £40 to check in 2 hours early which I ended up paying..
we also had to put bags into luggage storage which was another cost when we checked out. I will not be stopping at a zedwell again..
I thought hotels were all about keeping the customers happy..
There was no hand towel either had the use the towel I’d been showering with the dry hands .
Checked in at 2am, the sink was overflowing. Only way to contact staff if through whatsapp text messaging. They say they have 24hr maintaince but response on text said they don’t. Maintaince came to fix at 7am and left the entire room smelling like sewage. The most disgusting experience ever. Front office were no help in assisting until I reached out to Expedia directly. Hotel was suppose to refund for day 1 and no one from hotel is replying.
I wouldn’t stay here again, there were literally 2 beds in a room. No table or cabinet to even place your stuff, drink or phone. No hairdryer in the room, you can either traipse around the hotel for a beauty room (which we never found!) or hire one for a cost! Don’t bother arriving early, they’ll charge you to either check in early or store your bags. Never again.
I love everything about this hotel. It’s so convenient to everything in London yes, there’s not crazy amount of amenities but the rooms are comfortable. They’re clean. There’s a lot of space super great hotel.
The hotel is right in the Hub of Central London and is so accessible to loads of sights, shops, restaurants and the attractions. Don’t be fooled by the outside, as soon as you enter the main foyer the zen smell calms you. Rooms are clutterless and some of you may struggle with the lack of TV and amenities but it was just what we wanted.

Hyper minimalistic, great if all you need is a place to sleep.
Amenities are non-existent. No minifridge, microwave, TV etc. some rooms don't event have a window. They could easily put some effort and make a table fold out from the wall or add more hooks but nope.
There's no hairdryer either, you have to go to designated floor with a "beauty room" that doesn't even have sinks.
My room had a slight smell of sewage my entire stay (8104) but it's a good thing I dont have a sensitive sense of smell because it was quite distinct.
Honestly you're paying just for the location. Being at the heart of Piccadilly Circus right beside an Underground entrance is 100% the only reason to stay here.

Spotless, simple, quiet and DARK room. No windows, part of the charm of the location. Different and neat! I'd stay again. Check in time is strict and depending on who you speak with, inflexible. Ask to speak with someone else if your request cannot be accommodated. Makes sense and my stay was enjoyable.
Great location and clean comfortable room. Suited our family of four.
Only negative was being charged either 40 pounds to check- in early or leave your bag for 15 pounds each.
