Okay for a one-night stay

Our stay at this hotel was fine -- not horrible, but not good either. They had a problem with our two-room reservation, so our kids weren't able to be in a room right next to us. The rooms were small and dark, nothing like the pictures online, though clean enough. Our neighbor had barking dogs and the smell of smoke in the elevator was so strong we could literally barely breathe. The best thing about the free breakfast was that it was free -- otherwise it was pretty "meh."

We arrived in the late hours of the night after driving from southern California and upon entering the lobby, the man behind the desk was unhelpful, rude, raised his voice at my mom who was asking him what solutions he had if he didn't want to take her card for the deposit. Once we said we will be leaving without checking in, he miraculously found a solution, a simple form to fill out. Once we got to the hotel room we had to fight for for 30 minutes, cockroaches...i killed a total of 4 roaches being in the room for less than an hour. There was mold on the side of the shower, roaches in the room, a spider in the corner with a mansion for how long he's been camping out, the furniture was busted and broken, the doors were chewed at the bottom and swelling because there was no fan in the bathroom. I've been to some questionable hotels, but this by far was the WORST. You'd have better luck at the Motel 6.

Not as described. Room did not have iron nor ironing board. The room smelled like smoke despite stating it was a non-smoke room. Room keycards had to be reactivated multiple times in one day and homeless people had an encampment right in front of property and some even sleeping in their cars in the hotel parking lot. And I only stayed one night. I looked at it as “its just to sleep and shower”

Booked a room the night before knowing I would be getting there early in the morning & needed to sleep. When I arrived I was told my card was declined for the first night and i had to pay an early check in for the 2nd night. Now I have to take it up with Expidia.

Hotel has potential

When i 1st got there not pleasant because so many homliness in and outside of the property. Did not feel safe and im from Oakland. That says alot. But going in it was nice and clean. The young ladies were professional and nice. As we went to our room we open the door and we got hit with a steamy stinky smell of cigars. I have asthma and no way i could stay. I had to get back into the car and go back to the front desk. They changed my room and it was an easy process. The 2nd room smelled better and was cleaner. The only thing the furniture was ready to be donated to goodwill or to be recycled. It was banged and discolored. It made the room rating go down. But overall the room was clean and a bit quiet. Our room was near the street where people would come off the bridge and freeway. By night the street crowd disappeared and was quiet. We slept good and comfortable. Lastly, what i highly recommend is a good cleaning with a power wash. The front desk building (the outside part) had mold and through out the hotel the outside walls was extremely dirty. Rhe hotel needs some tender loving care because it has potential. They need security to clear the premises inside and out.
