We had a wonderful visit. The breakfast was good . Frittata and yogurt, sweets and bagels. We wished for more variety from the frittata. But overall very good. We got an upgrade so we had a spacious place. And the bikes were available. The manager Esteban was very attentive to our needs.

Hotel allowed me to check in at 9 am which was a huge ask. They provided breakfast primarily cereal, muffins, toast, frittata things of that nature. Property was nice and clean. Great views of the mountains. Walkable to beach and State st. Pool was down during stay but I was there for one night. Overall good property.

The room was very disappointing. It looks like a $150/night motel, not a $450/night hotel. The esthetics is awful, it has shutters in stead of curtains which don't keep the light out in the morning, the room was dark. The breakfast was bare minimum. The pool is small. Overall very disappointing and not a hotel we would come back to.

I was looking for an affordable place to stay and decided on Brisas Del Mar. The inn is a quaint, Spanish style inn with a decent pool and hot tub. We were upgraded to the penthouse suite which was quite spacious with a fully stocked kitchen, large bathroom, living room and bedroom. The inn itself is a bit outdated but well kept, clean, and comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, sharing great recommendations for restaurants and breweries. The free breakfast is very basic with coffee, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit. Overall would recommend if you are looking for an affordable place to stay with a bit of charm that is centrally located to many attractions nearby including a short walk to the beach front, 5 min drive to funk zone and state street. My favorite was renting the free bikes and riding along the beach.

I didn’t have high expectations because I just needed a last minute hotel and this one was a great rate and available. Reviews were a little mixed but as someone who travels a lot, I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is just perfect, the staff were incredibly kind to me and others throughout my whole stay. I was given a wonderful room honoring the request I made for a room on the first floor. The room was huge, like a full apartment. I will definitely return, I couldn’t have asked for more. Clean, quiet, blackout drapes, a wonderful experience.
