Check in was very simple and staff was friendly and accommodating. Upon checking into our room, we found it to be clean and spacious. We did not expect a balcony, which was a nice addition. The TV system has features that allow you to log in to streaming services (account information cleared at check out) as well as a mode to allow audio to play through the TV. That being said, we had some concerns about one thing in the room: the door. Our door did not close properly a few times during our stay, it would stay ajar when we let the door close by itself. We would have to pull the door closed when we turned down for the night and double check if the door closed all the way before leaving the room. It was a little inconvenient and this should probably be addressed in the next major maintenance period for this building. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I was in the Oxnard area. The area is relatively quiet, the room was comfortable, and as long as you paid attention to the door to your room, there was nothing really to be concerned about.

Great pool, comfy beds, and quiet! Had an issue with the AC and shower in the first room and they immediately put us in a new room which was so, so helpful! It was late, it had been a day of driving, and the five year old was on the brink of a meltdown, so immediately getting to move to a fresh room a few doors away and jump in bed was exactly what we needed! Will definitely be back!
