Find cheap hotels near Downtown Miami Shopping District

"I've been coming to this hotel for years (3-4 times a year) and have always been satisfied. The room and bathroom are small, but clean and offer everything you need. The staff is very nice and helpful. Ms. Julia always tells me when the Miami Heat are playing. Thank you very much for that. The elevator has been renovated, so I'm very satisfied. Only the woman on the right at the window counter is very rude, very loud, and unprofessional. Don't ask her for a taxi. The transfer from the hotel to the airport is very expensive. That's the only thing I don't like. The taxi from the airport to the hotel costs $45.00 at night, the current price as of August 2025. During the day, it should actually cost the same to the airport. That would be correct, not $90. The bus stop and commuter train are right outside. There's also a Starbucks café. :O) The breakfast isn't as inviting by European standards, but it's OK. The hotel is perfectly fine for short-term travelers and very clean. I would like to return in October 2025."
