great hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff, lovely park to relax in outside the main entrance good food and drinks in the cafe had a great time

Amazing hotel! Fantastic location, great food and big rooms! Nice staff, rooms well cleaned and nicely decorated too. Great value for Amsterdam as well

Beautiful

The most beatiful hotel we have stayed in. Spacious, comfortable and peaceful room. Welcoming and friendly staff. Gorgeous decor and great location. Round the corner from 2 tram stops into the centre. Loved it, thank you.

Very cool building and restaurant. Room not best.

We stayed for three nights and were generally very impressed. The staff were great and the restaurant was cozy. The hotel was quiet st night and the rooms are quite quirky. A couple of things let the stay down but these were room specific so may be different elsehwhere. The room (209) was a bit delapidated. The floorboards were bouncy, the finish on things wasn’t great. The door had chunk of veneer missing. The lights didn’t work properly. I expected a bit more for the money, but the issues were only cosmetic and perhaps this room was on the list to be upgraded. That said, we had a great stay and the hotel was great in all other things as far as we were aware.

Lots of character

This was my 3rd visit, the last being 10 years ago. Some of the changes since then are brilliant - the terrace overlooking the park, the bar & restaurant area. However, the reception area has lost its charm, I think. It had a friendlier feel to it & was a little more casual before. I have to give 5 stars for the amazing dinners. Such tasty food! Beautifully presented, too. I also like the fact that the entrance is now in Oosterpark because I had never thought of exploring it before & it is really beautiful.
