Nice!

Bright and friendly social spaces. Good value for the price paid, very eco friendly, was easy to check in late due to airport delays. Gives upgraded hostel vibes in my opinion which worked for me due to my budget. Bonus to be located just a few mins away from the metro. Extremely accommodating in regards to my partner’s birthday. Very kind of the team. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Didn’t really enjoy it. Rooms seemed like a cement block. Nothing on the walls. The lighting in the rooms was stark. Could hear noises in the hallway all night. Good shower, though not good for senior citizens. Good beds, liked the espresso machines in the rooms.

A very “hostel” feel. Extremely casual and a young vibe that was refreshing. Friendly staff at check in. One surly person at host stand of restaurant. Room was ok. Adequate bathroom. Nice products in bathroom. There was a kitchenette with small fridge, sink, microwave, and Nespresso machine. Nice to be given complimentary water and Nespresso pods. Don’t miss the mini stroopwafels in the sugar caddy. The location is bit on the outskirts of the center. Close to the metro station. I highly suggest studying the metro and tram routes beforehand

Thanks for the stay and the assistance!

Set up is for very social situation with loads of students around, but all ages seem welcome. Good location right near a metro stop. Rooms were adequate, clean and comfortable. Coffee machine, kettle and mini stroopwaffels provided. Staff were great - I managed to hurt my back during the stay and the team were super kind and helpful, including extending my stay, grabbing pain meds from the pharmacy and offering to obtain food and other assistance as required. Super grateful for their help.

My stay at The Social Hub was an unique experience. The vibe is of a modern a hotel with a heavy lean into a co-working space and a social hub. Main clientele feels aimed towards digital nomads or younger travellers looking to meet people. The location is excellent, with a metro stop right outside that gets you to the central station and all the main sights in just a few minutes. My room was compact but clean, and had what I needed. The highlights were the facilities (laundry and gym) (You will need their app to use the laundry however it is free to use), multiple bars, a café, a breakfast buffet (at a cost), and plenty of spaces to work. The staff were helpful. It’s not a traditional, quiet hotel, but if you want a vibrant, well-located, and a place to stay and work, I would recommend it.

Great location and initial experience but the room was hugely disappointing. Way too narrow that you cannot easily pass the bed. Spoilt my stay especially since other rooms of the same type seemed much more spacious

Would not recommend the Social hub.

The food options??? There was very limited. The breakfast was mostly continental and few hot options. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was mouldy and the toilet bowl had a really dirty hugh brown stain at the bottom toilet bowl, we reported twice before anyone came yo really try and give a clean. Customer service was horrendous no attention yo detail. Transportation is brilliant just purchase a metro card and live is easy from there on. Internet access is great all over Amsterdam free and fast.

Fun atmosphere and friendly service!

This was our second time staying at The Social Hub and we still love it! The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly, and the rooms are always clean. We stayed during Pride and everything was smooth—except for a fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night, which turned out to be a false alarm. We were expecting at least a small note or apology for the disruption, but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, still a great experience and I’d definitely stay again in the future!
