Great overnight stay

Fab hotel close to Paddington station and Hyde park, check in quick and friendly and accommodating as we were a little early. Didn’t use any facilities such as bar or lounge as an overnight trip attending BST Hyde park so just a stopover. However when we headed back to the hotel the welcomes were warm and friendly from all staff, twin room a good size for central London, it was quite humid in London but the fan in the room did the job. Beds comfy and nice and quiet area, bathroom a decent size but could do with updating. Would definitely book and stay again when next in central London.

Very disappointing stay. The location is excellent and staff are very friendly but the hotel is very tired and limited in basic amenities. The towels were thin and stained. The room was so tiny without aircon. I also have bites in a line resembling those caused by bed bugs. The worst thing - we paid £200 a night! Do not believe all the good reviews.

Hotel is fine but basic. Superior room was very small as was the bathroom. No furniture for unpacking a suitcase. One luggage rack provided for 2 guests. Breakfast was adequate for a £8 additional charge. Location is convenient for Paddington Station

This hotel is in a nice area near Paddington with good little shops and restaurants The staff are kind and helpful. Only drawback is some rooms have no air conditioning which is a disaster in the heat. Plus the bathrooms are truly tiny. Might not come back for this reason.

What a gem of a hotel fantastic location, excellent for a low budget hotel even got upgaded to an air con room. Was a perfect location for Hyde park and to explore from. We will be back what a fab weekend we had

The staff at reception was very helpful and assisting at all times, rooms clean and well maintained, good value for money, close to tube stations, many places to eat close by which stay open late, in-house restaurant serving good breakfast at reasonable cost. Would recommend stay by couples in a centrally located place at a very reasonable cost.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended

We arrived around 9 PM and were met by a sleepy, untidy receptionist — not a great start. The room lacked even the most basic amenities: no iron, no hair dryer, no drinking water, no tissues, and no refrigerator. The bathroom was a disaster — every time we used the shower, a small pond formed, soaking the floor and even wetting the carpets outside, which caused a terrible damp smell. The noise from the corridor was constant and disruptive, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The safety box was extremely outdated and required a physical key, which we had to collect from reception with a £10 deposit. Overall, a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. Definitely not recommended.

Excellent value for a London hotel. FIve minutes walk to Paddington Station or Hyde Park. Lots of nice restaurants and pubs nearby so the minimal hotel bar and breakfast were no bother. Staff were very friendly. My only complaint was the very late check in and very early check out times (1030 AM) which seem excessive.

The location was within walking distance to Paddington Station - this makes it really convenient to get around London, or go elsewhere from London using the railway. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with information about London. It was nice to see a smiling face every morning. The hotel was spotless. Our room was very clean.

The hotel was nice and clean, good location..short walk to Paddington station, but the room was hot; you can't open windows..air-conditioning was too weak to cool it. I was on 4th floor. Sink in bathroom has 2 taps cold and hot.. not easy to wash...
