Stunning hotel with excellent amenities and dining. Bus stop right across the street that can have you to central station in 5 minutes. Front desk staff are excellent. Cleaning staff are friendly and efficient. Dining room staff could be more attentive. They tend to leave customers waiting for their food and drinks; never consistent.

The hotel was slightly out of the city but was easy to get into by public transport or walking. Room was very quiet and bed huge! We slept very well. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety. Staff were all friendly. The skybar was nice to go to for a drink one evening. My husband used the pool and steam room and said they were immaculate and very relaxing. Few things i would change: A switch to dim the automatic toilet at night. It comes on full and blinds you! The floor in the shower can become slippy so be extra careful. My husband nearly fell a couple of times. Also the shower is clear glass with no door. This was fine with my husband but if you are travelling with friends there isn't any privacy! All in all a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel with very clean spacious room. Great breakfast and dinner was excellent. Quick tram ride to city centre or 25 minutes walk. Shame sauna was naked , not really my vibe! Otherwise an excellent stay would highly recommend.

Great hotel, amazingly comfortable pillows which is important to me The service from amazing Uma and Kevin ( K-Dog) in the Malabar cocktail bar was a highlight, would definitely return to stay and enjoy drinks there, well done!

Wonderful relaxing stay

From checking in to checking out we were made to feel welcome. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is fresh and relaxed. The cafe Jakarta is spacious with pkenty of seating with attentive staff. The eco saving attributes of the hotel are well advertised (on the eco angle. I would have preferred an option to do more recycling in my room). Our room was spacious and very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was wonderful. Enjoyed using the pool facilities. The gym and spa facilities seemed to be used very well also. The breakfast was plentiful and the fruit salad was fresh. There was a good variety of foods. The Malabar gives wonderful views over the river and saw beautiful sunsets. I would stay here again. The tram 26 and bus 43 regularly stop near the hotel

Excellent hotel with delicious breakfast included.

We stayed at Hotel Jakarta for 3 enjoyable nights and found the location very convenient for boarding our cruise ship. This location is located in a quieter part of Amsterdam, but still close enough for various transportation options to the center of Amsterdam.

Worth the $$

Nice room on 6th floor, windows were cobwebbed up high need better attention to details. Shower was roomy and good water pressure, liked double sink. Bed was sooo comfortable and enjoyed pop up tv at foot of bed, also enjoyed ability to stream from my phone ;)….pool was so nice, including jets and water features. 15 minute walk to cruise ship, bike rentals avail, half hour walk to dt AMS and a ton of restaurants. Highly recommend, free buffet breakfast was awesome!!!
