This hotel is really lovely and they have 3 restaurants. I ate 2 meals at the French restaurant and it was fantastic. The VIP perks offered 30 euros off in the restaurant plus a 1/2 bottle of champagne! They really know how to treat Expedia guests well! I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is clean and location is good- seems like it was likely a great hotel in the 90’s and hasn’t been updated since then. Breakfast was good but also not included so not worth the added cost. We would not stay here again

I found this property to be underwhelming for the price. The air conditioning didn't work and I had to get a stand up fan for the whole stay. The room was dated. I don't like how the doors open outwards and feel that is a bit of a security issue especially for women staying on their own. The bedding was very ordinary with just a bottom sheet and comforter..no other sheet. The gym was tiny and often crowded. The spa's looked beautiful but feel some of that space could be better dedicated to a slightly bigger workout facility. The breakfast that was included was nice. The service at the eateries was hit and miss. No one wanted to make an attempt to communicate in English. I think the staff should have the basics. The steak in the steak house is priced per 100grams and if you don't notice it on the menu before you walk in you can end up overpaying than what you had originally planned. I thought having to pay for the coffee in gym was unreasonable. I like to have a cup before I work out in the morning and before I hit breakfast and had to pay for it. Whereas had I had breakfast before my workout, coffee would have been unlimited. I just don't feel there is value nor would I say this is a 5 star hotel. I would rate it as a 4 star perhaps that needs a renovation. I will be staying at another hotel next year.

Happy in Hamburg

I went to conference and the hotel was close by. It’s located near everything central in Hamburg. The valet service is comprehensive and front of house staff are very attentive in regards to taking care of taxis and welcoming you to the hotel. Check in staff are all friendly and fun. The rooms are very European and basic styling but they are generously proportioned and well cleaned. In fact, the cleanliness was very high. This is a good hotel, it won’t disappoint.
