Really good hotel, only negative was room needed a fridge, i dont drink hot drinks so unable to enjoy a cold drink in our room. My husband doesnt drink coffee so we had to ask for a kettle for tea. This came within 15mins. Overall would recommend this hotel, even though it is VERY close to the station we didnt have any noise problems.

Slow check in. Staff not very friendly or welcoming. VIP perk of the spa was overrated. Had to use a service corridor to get there and told it could only be used once. Room had a bad smell, old carpets. Breakfast too busy, long queue to even be seated

Disappointed.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof, so we didnt have far to walk our heavy luggage. Reception in the stunning lobby was welcoming, friendly an efficient but the standard room we booked bore no resemblence to the photographs. It was a tiny attic room with inclined walls which made it uncomfortable for a tall man, like myself. Even my wife who is petite constantly bumped her head when getting in and out of bed. On a more positive note the breakfast buffet was excellent value and it's hard not to be impressed by the charming lobby and restaurant. In summary, not the best value for money and in my opinion not a 5 star experience. It paled by comparison with an earlier stay at Frasier Suites at the same price point and arguably in a nicer part of town.
