The NOISE is a problem

The room was basic but spacious. Bed and mattresses looked a bit tired. Windows open. On site parking is small but convenient. Location is great. HOWEVER, THE NOISE! There is a night club right downstairs that BLASTS dancing music and bass. You will have to close windows (no air) and wear ear plugs and even then you will feel room shaking. We barely slept. This is why it’s so cheap.

Too noisy to sleep

The room was fine but overnight there was so much noise from nearby clubs that it was impossible to sleep - loud bass and vocals through the floor until 3am. Don’t stay here.

Ibis is a dependable brand, this hotel is well placed for city centre, short walk from New Street station. Decent breakfast.

We always stay to go to the opera at the Hippodrome! With parking it is most convenient as we live in Wales! Thanks for putting us up! The only glitch was the second lift was crook! Still it didn’tnoticeably hold us up! It’s tremendous we can get so close to central Birmingham!

Hotel is fine for a cheap stay central to the station outside and around the hotel is extremely dirty and not well kept. Also wouldn’t bother with the breakfast limited choice and my son was severely sick after it.

Our only issue was that the air conditioning barely worked, if it did at all. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the evening we spent huddled up in the lounge.

Good central hotel for a city conference

Smooth check in ... once I found the hotel (had a nice tour of the Bullring first, my error!!). Room was compact but did the job. Could open the windows which was nice. TV worked. Would have been better to have nicer coffee than Nescafe. It looked like you could help yourself to the coffee machines downstairs when they were open, (although I never read anything to say that).

Stayed one night as went to see a band in digbeth Room was basic but very clean and a decent shower. Bed was ok too Paid a tenner for breakfast which was good value Staff all seemed super helpful I would definitely stay here again
