Resort was amazing, all the staff was kind and courteous. Our butler Jose was truly amazing, he made our trip so special. Had a wonderful time and would totally come back. Food could be a little better at buffet. Bacon needs to be cooked more. Restaurants were wonderful. But I had a fabulous time.

The check-in process was extremely slow and drawn out. Although multiple representatives were available at the time, there was very little urgency in getting guests checked in and on their way. Room service was also disappointing. it often took up to two hours for orders to arrive, and I noticed on several occasions that items were marked as “delivered” nearly an hour before actually being received. The food quality overall was decent but not great. I had a bad experience at the Villa Marina restaurant. After eating there, I became sick later that night. However, the other restaurants offered decent food that I was able to enjoy without issue. The drinks and cocktails were okay, though it definitely took several to feel any effect. My room itself was comfortable, the bed was very nice, and the bathroom was average. However, the toilet seat was loose and not properly secured, and the floorboards along the bathroom walls looked dirty and were deteriorating. My room also did not have a microwave, which was inconvenient since I couldn’t warm up any food or leftovers. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They always had answers to my questions and were pleasant to interact with. One thing I did found frustrating was the number of people constantly trying to sell items such as jewelry and accessories right in the walkways and on the beach. They often stop guest as they pass by and try to make sales throughout the day, which became bothersome.

Pros: The staff is very kind and helpful. Service is great. Susana from Jellyhouse was amazing! Pool was clean. The food was decent. Magic show, variety show and beach party was fun Cons: The resort is big so the amenities were far and slightly challenging to walk. The kids waterpark was closed for maintenance during our 8 days stay. We had particularly booked because of waterpark for our 4 year old. The sales team can be a little aggressive.

We really enjoyed the lazy river! What a beautiful feature! Our room was very very musty and damp (the floors stayed perpetually wet the whole stay). I don’t think the air conditioner was working. We asked twice for a dehumidifier but it was never delivered. Other than our room, we had a nice stay and would return!

The service in the pool area was good, but the variety of liquors used for the drinks should be of better quality. The restaurants are very good, but there were only three available per day, with the following issues: one required a reservation that always appeared full, another did not allow minors, so basically you could only eat at one restaurant or at the buffet.

We traveled with two 4 year olds and specifically booked this hotel for the kids pool with all the slides and activities. Unfortunately, this was closed for renovation. While I understand it's necessary, it would have been nice to get the information beforehand. We wasted an hour for the "presentation" after which we were promised our welcome gift. Didn't get the gift and lost 1 hour of our lives for this. It felt forced, and very aggressive, we talked to 3 different sales reps, filled out forms and were shown other nicer rooms. it's was 1h in (with 2 kids that were eager to go to the pool) and still waiting for the "presentation" before we opted out. And I'm more mad at myself for not declining this right away. Getting a heads-up that this is a lengthy SALES presentation would have been nice. Overall, we did have a great time. Loved the lazy river. The virtual concierge Carlos was great, made sure we had everything we needed and made restaurant reservations for us. I would recommend the hotel in general, but would decline the sales pitch right away.
