Choose the Milner for an excellent place to stay.

I really enjoyed both York and the hotel. The only problems I found is too many stairs and too long walk to room especially when carrying bags. There was no armchair in room and so it was difficult to be in the room as nowhere to sit. Staff were very helpful. I was locked out of room on departure day before I had time to leave with bags. Staff member let me in.

Great location for exploring York

We had a great stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and such a lovely building. Room was a squeeze to negotiate the entrance way and was a bit dark in certain places. Bathroom was compact but lovely - very nice toiletries provided. Pool area was spotless and had good facilities. Ideal location from station and only a short walk into the centre of York.

Beautiful building and interior. The rooms were very tired and in need of repair and upgrade. The wash basin was leaking- the bathroom door wouldn't close due to loose screws-no room mirror- the room was cold despite indicating 24 degrees and the windows were draughty.
