The hotel lacked a restaurant that vould cope with the number of guests. As farvas im aware foodcwas not available during the day and i was directed towards the ICC by reception. The que gor breakfast was unbelievable. The ac noise in the bedroom meant that you had to turn it off to sleep. It was intrusive.

It’s been a few years since I stayed in this well located hotel - I always remembered it positively but it’s been recently refurbished and it shows. The room was super comfy and very nicely decorated. The only noise was from revellers coming back to their rooms late. Shower was excellent - awesome pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast was the best I’ve experienced in many years: I went down at quite a busy time but was seated quickly, and all the food and supplies were well stocked, and hot! Staff were discreet, and efficient and polite.

On arrival to the rooms we had booked, we found the accomodation to be very cold. We checked the heating controls and left for a few hours to get upto temperature, to no avail. Contacted reception to which they apologised and said they would send up a heater fan, other guests complained of the same issue. On arrival back to the room a small oil filled electric radiator had been left switched on. The room took until the next day to heat up to a comfotable level. Then the shower head hose busted again reception was contacted, to be told that no maintenance staff were available at the weekends, however we were told that they would check and give us an update, still waiting to hear back a week later.

All the staff were courteous and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the lounge facility and happy hour. Emmanuel provided excellent service. The front of house at breakfast on Thursday and Friday was also exceptional.The room was spotless, bar staff were friendly and welcoming. The concierge went out of his way to ensure that we knew where to find things in the city. Would definitely recommend the hotel.
