What I liked: The property is right next to the most beautiful river. What I didn't like: 1. I had a room with mountain view, which actually meant that it's next to the train track, and the train noise woke me up every time it went by. 2. Air conditioning was supposed to be off, but it ended up running one of the nights. It's super noisy and kept me up. 3. The fridge (you can borrow one) was not cold. 4. There's no WiFi signal in the room. 5. The pillows were extremely soft and flat. 6. The hotel bar didn't have good food or wine selections. The pour was small, and price was high.

Pros: great location in Interlaken and the staff is friendly. Parking is great (does cost money). The best part is the stunning view we had on our balcony overlooking the river and the surrounding mountains. The rooms were clean and the maid service was good. Cons: the walls are very thin and I could hear the people above me stomping around until very late at night. Made it very hard to sleep. It’s an old hotel so nothing they can do. I eventually had to switch rooms in the hope the next people above me were quieter. The rooms are also very small and don’t have any touch of luxury. For the amount this hotel costs I was expecting better.

We loved having a balcony overlooking the beautiful blue Aare River. The room is a bit small and the bathroom as well. The shower is quite small. But we like the close proximity to the Interlaken West station. The rooms are very clean. The bed was comfortable.

This hotel has an excellent location, right beside the beautiful turquoise river. The river view rooms have a balcony to enjoy the lovely river and views of the surrounding natural beauty. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The room assigned to my husband and I was quite small in size, with a very compact shower, and we felt it was not great value for the price we paid. The bed was comfortable enough, with one pillow, a duvet, and extra blanket. Only enough room for one suitcase, so light packing is recommended. The air conditioning worked well. Overall an adequate stay.

The location is great but struggling to see how this hotel achieves a 4* rating. The hotel is combined with a back packer hostel in the same building which cheapens the whole offer. The bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship ensuite.

From beginning to end we could not believe that this was a four star hotel. They kept reiterating that it was “stylish”. The only style I observed was the lack thereof. Mutton dressed as lamb! The whole room looked straight out of Ikea. A canvas wardrobe no tables, uncomfortable chairs and cheap metal beds and mattresses. Baseboards attached with all nails showing, bathroom floor not the same height as entrance with sharp metal bar to trip over (3x). Air conditioning not adjustable. No restaurant. And five star prices! Not good! Be warned!

Charming, quiet, and perfectly located—Bellevue is a hidden gem in the heart of Interlaken. The views from the river-facing balconies are stunning, and the hotel strikes a lovely balance between old-world character and modern comfort. Staff were warm and helpful, and the location near Interlaken West station made day trips easy. A peaceful base with just the right touch of luxury.

This hotel is located in a lovely area with less than 15 minutes away from the train station; making it very convenient to explore the city. The neighborhood felt safe and had a nice atmosphere, with cafés, shops, and other amenities nearby. The room was clean, quiet, beautiful view of the river, and very comfortable, and was everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and great value for the location. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

Very nice quiet location it at the same time close to everything. The river view room was much smaller than we expected but excellent view. We even watched people jumping off the bridge. The self laundry facility was an added bonus. But the staff are not quite familiar with buses allowed on the guest card. We were kicked off 106 and told 102-104 are the only valid buses. Something to be verified before j make plans.
