It was amazing! We went there for our honeymoon and we were amazed by the service of the staff at restaurants and to clean our room and refill our fridges! We had a blast, food was really good and the bars were very good

The resort is beautiful. The staff nice and welcoming. The buffet had wonderful options although most food was room temperature at best. Heat lamps only do so much. My biggest complaint was being asked to partake in a meeting (timeshare adjacent I assume) and having my room called not once but 4 times all together. I paid for my trip I should not have to dodge people wanting more. And definitely should not be called early in the morning after enjoying multiple yummy drinks the night before. Overall we had a wonderful time!

From the moment we arrived, the service was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. The highlight of our trip was definitely the waterpark: vibrant, fun, and perfect for all ages. We spent hours there and loved every minute! Special shoutout to the team at the pool bars—The Mix and The Reef. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality were absolutely top-notch. We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Onyx! The resort is beautiful and well kept, and the service made all the difference. Our maitre d’, Angel, deserves a special shout-out — he checked in on us regularly and made sure we were comfortable. When our first room had an AC issue, he quickly arranged a new one and followed up afterward to ensure we were happy. Truly above-and-beyond service! The staff across the resort were consistently friendly and helpful, which created such a welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed the lazy river at Onyx — so fun and relaxing — and appreciated having access to Breathless next door. While Breathless offered a more laid-back, adults-only vibe, Onyx was the heart of our trip and we’re so glad we chose to stay here. Dreams Onyx exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Cana!
