Staff outside and in the rooms was amazing. But, staff in the restaurants, the waiters, felt like they treated us less than other guests. No clue why but it kept happening at every restaurant every night. And yes we tipped generously.

No need to leave the resort at all. Nice people stayin at the hotel and the staff is just perfect. However, much to desire when it comes about the dining restaurants. Good ambience to talk and chill but the service there is just slow as fudge. Very understaffed for the asian steakhouse or italian. The mexican is the contrary and it seems they do it on porpuse as they said “to leave the name of their county high up” Good variety of food in the resort overall but the flavors are just simple Great drinks Again service kindness and willingess to help is top notch

Needs some TLC - all the fabric chairs and sofas around the hotel and in the rooms have stains. We got the nicest room in the hotel and it was still very average. Offering turn down service or some chocolate would be nice. It’s the little details that make someone remember your hotel and want to return. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room came with 2 sinks inside the bathroom only 1 worked, I notified the front desk but nothing was done. The knob on the balcony door was loose and keep falling off. Not enough trash bags and the floor needed to be swept, but other then that it was a nice hotel.

My wife and I loved our 3 night stay in late September. Being a family resort, this time of year was perfect to get some relaxing time without having to go to an adult-only resort. Our room was very modern, clean, and spacious. We had a partial ocean view which was much better than we saw on other reviews. Buffet food was decent, but lacked more beef options. We also liked the Asian and Italian restaurants — the Mexican was okay. We didn’t try the other restaurants. Staff was very welcoming, but front desk had a slight bit of an arrogant tone. We’re very happy we chose this hotel.

The place looks run down in regards to the rooms and leaking celings. The staff was never on the same page about anything and constantly tried to make us pay double then what we already paid. The room service was awful and communication sucked. The best part was the spa that was amazing but also not worth the price. The resteraunts all were way to hot to be able to enjoy the meal without sweating

Overall, the experience was decent, but it did not live up to expectations, especially considering the extra cost for VIP access which is definitely not worth it. The “exclusive” amenities amounted to a few small jacuzzi sized pools on a small deck and a separate section on the beach that felt no different from the regular areas. There was no noticeable upgrade in service, restaurants, bars, or lounges. The food was good overall, but the poolside snack bar was disappointing compared to the other dining options. The staff was polite, and most meals were enjoyable, but the VIP upsell and lack of flexibility with groups were major drawbacks. For that reason, I can only give this resort 3 out of 5 stars.

Hilton Mar Caribe truly sets the standard for a luxury all-inclusive experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. The level of service and the consistent quality across all facilities were simply unmatched. All staff were very friendly and accommodating.It was the perfect, stress-free escape to celebrate my sister's golden birthday. The family had a great and memorable vacation. Surely one for the books!
