Disappointed in this resort. It is a beautiful resort, and the grounds are kept very clean however, rooms smell heavily of mildew. My suitcase, carry-on, luggage, and clothes came home wreaking of mildew. I’m sure it is because the air conditioner filters have never been changed. Couldn’t open the windows to air the room out because of all the mosquitoes. food at ALL the restaurants is mediocre at best. The best place was the coffee shop that offered fresh juices, coffees, and desserts. Concierge had a little interest in helping us with booking excursions and was preoccupied with whatever he was working on on his computer. Very unhelpful. In fact, most of the staff seemed untrained and could not answer questions about the resort. On top of all of this, the power went out three times while we were there with no announcement over the loudspeaker as to why. Guests were left in the dark with no explanation. Would not go back to this resort.
