We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise as beautiful and there were lots of things to do. My family enjoyed the games and the adult pool. The bartenders were super personable and fun as well. The buffet had retood but not as many options as we've had at other resorts and service was really slow. Not a bad thing, it gave us time to chat, just hit the buffet before going if you are really hungry. We had a swim up pool room and I definitely felt like it was worth the additional cost. We had a main pool right next to us and the servers would bring things over to the private pools as well which was really nice. The staff at check in was really friendly, it was a long process and we were all just ready to get to our rooms but Xavier went thru the tour quickly as we requested and came back later when we were refreshed. We really appreciated him listing to what we needed. Overall, it was a great week and we would return.

Overall I had a wonderful time here. There are a few things to note if you are going for your first time. We received a swim up room which was a pleasant surprise. The pool attached to the room was VERY cold and hard to use because of that. However still beautiful. The room itself was very clean however they all smell a bit of mildew and is very humid. The soaking tub was not used because when we went to turn it on a giant ant came out of the jets, followed by brown sludge. The staff is AMAZING ! They make sure that there is always something to do. The app is a bit hard to use but doable. If you’re only staying for 7 days or less you can only go to fine dining once. That’s not too bad when the buffet is excellent. Overall if you keep these in mind, it’s a nice and affordable property. Do not let the “premium” sales people rope you in. It takes up your first afternoon and first morning, they start chatting with you as soon as you’re checking in and you may not even notice it’s a sales pitch yet. But they’re trying to sell you a membership with a crazy deposit and monthly payment.

We had a rooftop hot tub and it was awesome ! Maid service could have been better. Ariz our butler was the most amazing person who handled everything for us even an impromptu Birthday celebration for my husband and myself in our friends swim up room complete with, beer, liquor, cake (which was delish) and champagne!! Julio and Maria at the privilege pool were top notch as well as Luis the bartender there too. Miguel in the privilege lounge was great to see still there from our last visit and he was great as last time. I know I’ve forgotten some names and apologize but you were all amazing!!! Our only complaint was that at our special dinner my husband and one of our friends returned their steaks because they were not done to their liking and he came back and said no. The chef said it’s done the way it’s supposed to be done. And he said no, it’s not done the way I want it. Please take it back and cook it some more. So he did. Then the chef came out and kind of glared at our table didn’t say anything, but we thought that was quite rude Can’t wait to try the newest in location when it’s open. Thank you all for everything!!!

Resort was great! Esthetics was very upscale and modern. Rooms were big and bathrooms were decent. Had a room the walks out to the waterpark that had 2 lounge chairs in our patio so we didn’t have to claim any chairs which was perfect with kids! Poops were never over crowded. Restaurants were great and all locations had great and friendly servers. Great price for a great quality resort. Only downside was the beach was fairly small but still great with lots of lounge chairs and shaded options.

Our Butler (Ariz) was extremely helpful with any of our needs!! She exceeded all of our expectations!! Also our pool concierge (Julio) was absolute best concierge we have ever had in any of our previous stays at other resorts. Both need to be recognized by the H-10 management because they are great ambassadors for their company.

Our family had an incredible, unforgettable week here. Compared to other resorts I've stayed at, I was actually blown away by the entire experience. This is partially because we did the Privelege upgrade, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to book this or any resort. We were treated like VIPs from the second we stepped foot on the proeperty. We had a private, comfortable check in experience, butler service that took care of all our reservations and needs for the entire stay, a spectacular ocean view suite right on the beach, the list goes on. By far, the best features were the Privelege Lounge, where we enjoyed absolutely amazing food and service (I actually had the best steak of my life there, which is as surprising to me as to anyone who may read this) and the exclusive Privelege beach, with nonstop top tier service, perks, amenties and just fantastic paradise vibes. Literally, they thought of everything - sunscreen, beach toys for our toddler, pillows for your lounge chair, ice buckets with fresh water, abything you need. You can even order lunch right to your lounge chair. I loved every second. I didnt have a single bad drink - the mixology was on point. I enjoyed the variety of thoughtful and beautifully curated entertainment, I had more positive interactions with staff than I can count, and I ate better than I ever have at a resort. Every piece of this resort is thought out. We will be back. I miss it already. Thank you for a PERFECT vacation!

The resort itself is beautiful and the food is decent, but there are some frustrating limitations to be aware of. You can only book the nicer dinner restaurants once per week, and several of them close one or two days during your stay, which really limits dining options. The reservation system on the app doesn’t work well, since most places show as full, so you have to go through guest services to get help. The coatis (small raccoon-like animals) are everywhere and can be aggressive around food. I saw a family at Ocean Burger have their meal taken right off their table, and they’ll dig into bags and strollers if left unattended. The biggest disappointment was the H10 Premium Travel Club presentation. Like most resorts, they try to upsell you, but this one feels more like a timeshare pitch. We were offered a couples massage for attending what was supposed to be a one-hour tour of upgraded rooms, but it turned into two and a half hours. When we declined, the salesman Federico became rude and unprofessional, even blaming our kids for “wasting time.” Overall, it’s a nice property with decent food and good potential, but the dining restrictions, animal issue, and aggressive sales tactics really take away from the experience. If you go, just skip the “premium tour” and focus on relaxing.
