Not Luxury – Disappointing Stay Secrets Cap Cana was a huge letdown. Both rooms we were given had an overpowering mold smell, and it took over two hours the next morning for Kerlin at the front desk to get us a room that was tolerable—though his service was unhelpful throughout. Cleanliness was lacking (hair in sink, wrong pillows, no disinfecting wipes). The only bright spot was Felix, who was amazing during booking and went above and beyond. For true luxury, skip this place and go to Sanctuary Cap Cana instead.

The hotel is great but what made the experience great was the staff, especially the Preferred club staff. Our butler Anibal was great, he made sure we had an amazing experience, couldnt have asked for anyone better.
