My stay was well below expectations, and did not reflect the price paid. There is also significant construction in building 4 - which was not disclosed at time of booking. Other issues included a poor room location, constant construction, cold food, very limited mini bar selection, private pool that was never cleaned and full of dead bugs, and poor customer service. These factors combined made for a disappointing experience.

Let me first start off by saying, we were recommended this hotel by a family member. The hotel is a great size. We ended up going in the beginning of October and the weather was a hit and miss, as it was still considered to be within the rainy season. The hotel itself was great! It was very child geared and our 2 & 3 year old really enjoyed the water pool parks that the hotel had to offer. They also enjoyed all of the imagine kids playroom locations at various hours of the day. During the time that it was raining the kids were either in the playroom locations and/or napping so that was great. We really loved the all-inclusive aspect of this hotel. By all inclusive I mean literally everything was all inclusive, the sweet shop, the room service, the in room fridge snacks. EVERYTHING. With kids thats an absolute necessity since they are hungry at all different hours of the day. A few downside'swe experienced were, we were eaten up by mosquitos every single day. So when visiting, do pack repellent spray with you as a precaution. We did not know this before arriving and didn't have any with us. Luckily the gift shop sold some. The other downside was one of the restaurants "brass house" which is their steakhouse, lets just say, don't expect your porterhouse steak to be a real porterhouse steak. As steakhouse lovers, we were a bit disappointed. We thought that there would be shows every evening and there was not. That said, we still truly loved this hotel and will be coming back.

This is our go to place in Cancun with 2 young children. Multiple pools, several dining options and beautiful beach! Rooms have a sofa bed and easy accommodates our two toddlers. The nightly entertainment focuses on kids is great to keep them busy before bed time. We have not been able to try their adults offerings yet only the family side of the resort.

I would say overall the resort has all that you are looking for either for Adults only or families. Good: Playground and Water park, good room service and menu, minibar with a lot of options. Bad: mosquitos, poor service (I was all the time running after waiters to ask for drinks or something else) Water Park hours just until 5:30 PM. They said no reservations and there was a waiting list and empty tables, poor kids activities, spa policies. Improve: more food options. Welcome to the hotel

I pay extra for the rooftop suit but when I checked in on Sep 30, they said the suit is under construction and won’t be ready till Oct3, they feel sorry so they can give me 100 credit on spa, but if this kind of thing happened the first option shouldn’t be refund me 3 nights update fee? It’s around 300 extra and it shouldn’t be just the credit. On Oct 3, I went to check in for the rooftop suit in the morning and they said room won’t ready till 3pm, so I back there at 2:45pm, the room is ready but when I go to the room it’s not a big relationship with ocean view. I have been Cancun for 3 times, in my mind, last two times I paid extra for the ocean view and the room is directly face to the ocean, not like this I need to find which angle I can see the sea. I don’t really want to be a tricky customer but this time I have to because I paid almost 1000 CAD to update for this and I went back to the check in place. They told me that’s the only room they have and what I paid extra is for the pool view. 😅 how stupid I could be to pay 1k for a pool view. Finally I don’t have a chance to be a tricky customer because they have no other room. I asked them I have been waiting for the room from Sep 30 to Oct 3. Am I able to be first to pick a good view room or I deserve a good view room? But the same, they said we are really sorry about this, but we don’t have any room as what they always say. Sorry, but nothing they can do.

Property is nice but they gave us a room in a building that needed to shut down for renovation and were told that we had to move to another building still with construction happening around us before the day of the wedding and with daily events to attend which put a lot of stress. Personal at front desk were not helpful and understanding, they said if we didn’t move they will shut down all water and electricity etc. second room was of less quality, they gave us two small beds for a couple with ocean view which we didn’t even enjoyed because it was close to the wedding and had to leave next day, elevators were slow and still needing repairs etc. the personnel at restaurants and around the property were awesome. In a few words, we never had a situation like this before, the whole room moving put a lot of unnecessary stress, took tine from our vacations and enjoyment of the amenities .

Everything was wonderful! But the mosquitoes were unbearable. Ruined the experience a little. More should have been done to control it. Also my room was stuck at 69 degrees and I wasn’t allowed to make it cooler. The whole resort needed to be cooler indoors. But other than that everything was wonderful. The food was the best I have ever had.

This not a 5 star hotel I'll give it 3 star hotel the room too old seeing how much money we paid for this stay. the bathrooms are old the bed the nightstands, just not luxury at all. outside the room: always massive amounts of mosquitoes that will literally attack u as soon as u step outside and bunch of geckos outside the room on the hallway's walls and ceilings at night. another thing is the resort is relatively small, not many floors to get that ocean view, and the rooms are not in the main building as the lobby however it is very kids friendly and the food at the buffet and steak house is good
