Getting old and needs upkeep

Good location and that is it. I have stayed at this hotel a total of 4 times in the last 4 years, each year the building looks more run down, and the facility like the gym and the pool are in need of better upkeep.

The check in was timely but somehow I missed the deposit had to be paid in cash. I got a refund at checkout. You have to wait for your shower to warm up but the pressure will sting you. Enjoyed the pool but not many lounge chairs. Towels will not dry over night and they only clean room and change towels every other day, but you can ask and get towels. I was on 9th floor facing the city but noise was not bad. I will be going back there in the future, only short walk to the Mall and food court.

The hotel, while supposedly 4 stars, badly needs work and upkeep. The rooms and bed sheets smelled. The facilities, while decent in theory, could use more cleaning and attention. The room had amenities but not the things you'd need to use them. For example, there was a dishwasher but no dishwashing liquid. There were no paper towels or sufficient TP provided. There weren't enough towels. The ACs worked but one was quite old and made a loud noise. There was a gas stove range but it had no igniter (there was no lighter or matches either), so we couldn't turn it on. There were a few dishes provided, but they were visibly unclean. The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, too. In general, I'd say if you're looking for a 4-star experience, skip this one.

access is difficult to find, parking is not defined and changes, front desk occasionally answers, took about 40 minutes for them to get my TV working. Was only here overnight, but staff was less than friendly in just this short time. Bring cash.

Yes, its safe for kids and the mall is connected to the hotel so you can wke up hit up the mall without leaving the property. security is tight which is good makes me feel safe. thr guards at vancouver tower actually cared if my kids were okay and safe.

I have stayed in this hotel twice because it is in an excellent location. You can walk around outside and inside. They have a huge mall that you get a key card to go in from the hotel to mall. On this visit it was just my husband and myself. The only problem I had was the room I picked said standard and didn’t realize it didn’t come with a balcony so I had to pay more and upgrade my room. Previously I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had a balcony. It’s a clean and nice hotel overall

For a 4 star hotel, it does not live up to that standard. We had an ocean view, king size bed suite with a jacuzzi. View was very nice. Bed was spacious but was had small bits of dust, dirt, and dead flies on it when we arrived. Blinds also had dead bugs. Blinds were very effective at blocking the morning sun which was nice. Jacuzzi would blast out chunks of plastic/plaster whenever the jets were turned on so we didn’t use it. The room came with a fridge and a safe; we never received instructions on how to use the safe (despite asking over the phone and in person) and the fridge wouldn't turn on. We also asked to have the fridge fixed/get a new one, which they addressed the same day. Floor was made of large 30×30 cm tiles, which were nice and cool, but one of the tiles had a large crack in it that caused it to lift constantly when we walked on it. Overall our stay was ok, but everything was a bit dirtier than expected.

It was so dirty, no one came to do the cleaning during our 6 day stay even thought we asked front desk about it and it was so windy and noisy. Better stay elsewhere
