Do not stay here! We had a couple of rooms booked and ended up getting Scabies due to bed bugs. Raised with hotel as they showed up a few days late and they took all the details but to offer nothing. Ruined our few weeks due to treatments and washing everything.

I had a small comfortable single which I was able to keep warm with the very convenient oil filled electric radiator. Hotel is a bit tired but the public areas were smart and comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly and the entertainment was great with Anthony.
Our room was nothing like the photo. Washroom had a weird smell. Super super old building. Construction right outside

Really lovely stay. Brought our dog with us and booked into a superior seaview room. Huge room with everything we needed.
Lovely friendly staff and car park right behind hotel with lots of spaces for only £6 per night.
Hotel in need of refurbishment. Very tatty in places. One pillow provided on bed. The room was ok in size. However, there were areas that were not clean.
Local area around hotel isn’t safe after a certain time of night. I believe this is why the doors are locked after 11pm. It is inconvenient to press a bell to be let into the hotel.
More for older people and builders needing somewhere to stay. It shouldn’t be priced as it is. There are better hotels for a cheaper amount. Needs updating.
Very run down and shabby. Needs some work. Food was okay but it was pre-prepared and you had to order at breakfast. It was okay for the price paid for food. Shower was very slow with little water, but was hot.
Excellent location and lovely staff who were very helpful

The Burlington , as a song says , is a faded rose from days gone by . It obviously needs some major refurbishment work , new lifts , a complete repaint inside and out etc etc etc .
However ; it’s sort of charming !!! Those creaky floors . Those awful windows . The lifts !!!
OK . It’s old , but we enjoyed our stay here . Great location and sea views too .
We booked this hotel because the rates had gone up considerably in the usual hotel we book. We have stayed in this hotel before, as hotels go it is clean and staff are friendly. The room was ok but the bed/mattress was far too soft and springy. The breakfast was fine with a good assortment of food.

Affordable stay
Room was tired, floors uneven & super squeaky & shower left a lot to be desired but clean & comfortable & affordable for an overnight visit (sea view made up for room condition). Reception staff very polite but LOUIS, front of house at breakfast, was an absolute credit to the hotel considering breakfast was very busy and they appeared to be very understaffed.
