We had a great time in Liverpool. The Hard Days Night clearly is a busy, well
Used property. The carpet in our balcony room needs stretched. It’s puckered and a trip hazard. The carpet isn’t in poor condition, it’s just loose.
The A/C (air con) was not working. We had a west facing room and had we not had a balcony and its door to open, it would have been completely miserable. There was a fan, but it only does so much.
Had a great stay here. Our room turned out to look over Matthew St. Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was awesome. They even stored our luggage for us after check out until late that evening when we got back to Liverpool from a day trip. We tried to stay an extra night, but they were booked up. So, the recommended a great hotel only about a block away.
We booked a twin room and when we arrived it was set up for a double room however it was soon put to a twin room. I asked for a disabled room with a shower which we had however. There was now rubber mat for the floor which was very slippy after coming out of the shower and for someone now to good on their feet I did think this was not good. I had to put my friends towels on the floor to save me from slipping after she had had her shower. A toilet brush would be a good idea as well. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others just a few pointer to make it 100%
Lovely hotel, if visiting because of the Beatles connection, you won't be disappointed. Yards from Matthew street (you are unable to hear the partying whilst in your hotel room). Breakfast was average. Room very nice.

I have wanted to go to Liverpool for A Long Time. I’m a huge Beatles fan and when I heard about Hard Day’s Night I decided to stay there. I had a fabulous trip and the hotel was fine. My only complain is the lack of air conditioning. Our room stayed around 27 to 28 degrees the entire visit. Now we really only stay in the hotel to sleep and then shower and dress for the next day. The bed and toilet facilities were fine. But sleeping and dressing in a room that hot was miserable. The front desk attendant told us that many rooms were without AC. She said the problem was being addressed. They provided us with an oscillating fan but that didn’t lower the room temp. It really was like sleeping and dressing in a sauna. We were very uncomfortable in our room, but everyone was so nice that we simply tolerated the adverse conditions until we could step out into the hall where the temperature was much more bearable. The room windows did not open, so that did not help. The location of the hotel, price, and overall aesthetic was A+ and 5 stars. If only that AC had worked.
I booked this as a special night on our Liverpool trip for my husband’s birthday. To be honest, I’d have been better staying in the other hotel. Lots of waiting, extra charges for everything, the tables in the bar were sticky and smelled like a terrible grubby bar smell in the daytime. The room was pretty dated, we didn’t even get conditioner. Wasn’t impressed and aside from a few pieces of decor, it wasn’t the special Beatles affair I had hoped for at all.
Loved the atmosphere but the room was literally in a basement with a window looking into a homeless shelter. Travelling from the USA did not expect this. The service was terrible and the room was basic.

372 pound a night for room that felt like an oven , no air conditioning
Nice hotel, centrally located with friendly staff, good bar and clean and spacious room, one downside was our room faced onto Mathew Street so it was very loud!
Great location, overall though facilities were lacking. Breakfast was sub-optimal, the hotel bar was poor, when it could have been a great sanctuary to unwind after the chaos of the Cavern Quarter.
Room was very clean. We were unfortunate to be located on the corner of Matthew Street but previous reviews made us aware of the noise and we still wished to book as this hotel looks amazing. Happy hour was brill. Breakfast too pricey for us so we went somewhere local. Staff all very polite and eager to help. Only downside was they only had sparkling water for the three nights I stayed. Fully recommend and would definitely stay again as the Beatles decor and theme is amazing.
