Only our second visit to a Holiday Inn Express (the first being in Inverness) and we cannot rate it highly enough. Visited Liverpool to celebrate my birthday and to go to the Christmas Market and we were so pleased that I chose this hotel to stay in as it is in a fantastic location. Great views from the room, which whetted our appetite for exploring not just the main town but along the canal area. The wonderful variety for breakfast certainly started our 2 days off brilliantly! Staff were extremely courteous, cheerful and very helpful too which can sometimes be lacking in some establishments but certainly not Holiday Inns. We are already looking forward to planning another stay so thank you all.

We had a great weekend stay at this hotel, our room, had a wonderful bay window, so we could see the river mersey one way, and the city the other, the two lifts were super fast, so didn't have to wait long for a lift, the hotel also had a direct exit, into the Albert docks, entry by key card, which was super handy, plenty of amazing restaurants close by, would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Perfect to explore docks, city centre and close to nightlife. Very clean and modern. Only issue we had was that at certain times breakfast was very busy, which meant at times there was nowhere to sit and waiting for food to be replenished.

Lovely warm welcome from all the staff. Small bedroom but spotless and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast to suit all tastes. Onsite bar was unexpected but handy after a day out. Parking concession ticket if you park on Kings dock. Definitely use this again.

Breakfast was great although no bacon left as the slot we were given was 10.15 and the chef told us at 10.20 they stopped cooking at 10.30 ?? But everything else was lovely.
