Really friendly welcome from Reception, and we were given a larger room than we had booked, which was absolutely lovely. Hotel is in a very quiet street so no outside noise at all. We were short of time at breakfast and the staff were so helpful, making sure we were looked after really quickly. All staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, we would definitely return. Thank you!

This is a lovely hotel with a cozy and homy feeling. The building is quite dated but for me that added to the charm. The only problem is you get some noise from other rooms due to the old age of the building. The location is absolutely amazing. You are in one of the best neighbourhoods and steps from bus, subway, and many shops and restaurants. Overall, I will definitely stay here but will remember to pack earplugs.

Plus points: friendly staff, good location, big room. But: really needs redecorating - chipped and heavily marked woodwork, damp stain on the wallpaper, net curtain dirty and torn. Very close to this was swiss cottage tube station which was easy to navigate. Room was comfortable with 2 Firm beds and 2 soft beds. No flat sheet just a duvet which made temperature regulation difficult on some nights.
