One night staff member, very unsafe.

Pros: Walk in shower
Cons: Security guard at night is a must, reception staff are rude. Complaints to be dealt with without attitude.
I booked a double room a few hours before it was needed on Friday. The room was very clean and as a disabled guest I was very happy to have a walk in shower. These seem a rarity these days. Upon booking in we were told it was a non smoking throughout hotel. We booked a double bed but it ended up as two singles pushed together which kept gaping. At about 4am we woke up to a heated argument going on in what sounded like the room above. Then the smell of cigarette smoke engulfed our room ( we had an adjoining door) I phoned down to reception and the man said he would send someone up, which as far as I could hear, he did not. I called back and said it was getting worse and he claimed that someone had been up and they had refused to open the door. I said this was not acceptable and he must do something more as it is illegal to smoke. He then got rude and said "what do you expect me to do about it", so I said how about going in to the room in your hotel and making them stop or kick them out. He said it was not in his job description, he had called the police (they did not show up) and did nothing to sort it out. There was no manager on site, and we had to sleep in the freezing weather with the window open and listen to the north circular noise for the rest of the time. Upon leaving I was charged the full price for the stay and no apology given. So beware if staying here, there is no manager, no security guard and people can smoke and fight at all hours without penalty. The cleaning

Great value for money

Great location to park and travel to central London, staff were very friendly and helpful and facilities were great. Only downside was the hard mattress, didn’t sleep very well because of it.

Average hotel experience

Stayed with my family. The sofa bed was not comfy fir the kids. Breakfast was chaotic as not enough space fir everyone and a shortage of food a d crockery. Been in better hotels by far. Won't stay again

APPALLING, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Pros: dinner in the evening was quite pleasant.
Cons: all of the above
old mattress, very uncomfortable for someone with back problems, sofa bed really tired, kids had a bad night sleep too. Staff kept insisting about getting a credit card details even though the room was paid in full prior to our stay on your website, at some point they were threatening(obsessive), Not prepared to accept my husbands military ID which under the British Army code of conduct prevents him from pour behaviour. Breakfast appalling, badly organised , disgustingly presented and prepared. One member of staff to cover the all restaurant, no information or direction to help when arriving.
