Staff and facilities are great at this hotel. The view sitting outside having drink is breathtaking. I have only given 4/5 for property conditions as rooms are looking a little tired. Still lovely but could do with a little uplift Will stay again if ever in the area.

Great views, parking stress

Got off to a bad start, after a long drive reception staff were surly and not helpful regarding parking, which seems to be a perennial problem with this hotel. Getting a parking permit or space in the car park is a complete lottery! Rooms are nice but the now outdated look of very dark walls makes them oppressive and it was necessary to have lights on all the time! Bathroom was great, excellent shower and good toiletries. Bed linens very nice and coffee/tea selection good. Bar staff were excellent and the terrace is lovely but gets very crowded. Overall it was a good stay, would we return? Only if they sort out the parking!

Fabulous stay - I was so impressed with this hotel! Really nicely decorated, high spec room, amazing products (L'Occtaine!). The only downside is the parking but it's a small price to pay
